Co to jest Smart Key na plycie MSI K7T266PRO ver 2.0.
Przy starcie peceta, zaraz po wykryciu dysków mam taki komunikat:
NO SMART KEY IS PRESENT. PLEASE PLUG IN YOUR SMART KEY OR CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR.....
Pomóżcie z tym problemem.

MSI Smart key is a USB hardware device, which protects your personal computer from illegal users and provides you with a low-cost security solution for your PC. This "key" records the user's name, ID and password during installation and has a screen saver function so that no one can access your computer and spy on your personal documents when you are not around. From now on, there is no need to remember the long passwords, just use the key instead.

Ściągnąłem manuala do Twojej płyty. W sekcji "Using MSI Smart Key" pisze:

(...) After the password is confirmed [chodzi o hasło które podaje się podczas aktywacji klucza], the system will generate a set of random ID, and record this ID into the BIOS ROM and the memory chip on the key (...)

Może po prostu wystarczy zresetowanie (zworką) pamięci CMOS?. Chociaż gdyby to było takie proste to takie zabezpieczenie można by o kant d**y potłuc, niemniej jednak chyba warto spróbować.

nic nie da na 100%(to było pierwsze co zrobiłem), a ta płyta to ma niezły wypas(Raid, USB2 itd) tylko ten brakujący klucz USB(sprzedawca nie dołączył SmartKeya i innych tam). Dzisiaj dzwonię po resztę brakującego osprzętu do sprzedawcy. Jeszcze raz dzięki za info.
